It will focus on the following issues and processes: the migratory process and the formation of ethnic groups; postwar migration patterns, the globalization of international migration; new migration in the Asia-Pacific; migrants and minorities in the labour force; the migratory process: Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei compared; new ethnic minorities and society; immigration policies and politics; and migration in the New World order.
