Small Group Class Facilitation</strong> (15%)<br>\nAll students will be expected to conduct a research on a related topic and facilitate group discussions on <strong>Weeks 7-10</strong>. Each group is to conduct facilitation once in a semester.<br>\nDuring the class, facilitators are expected to present their findings in the research and facilitate group discussions related to the topic. Facilitators are to submit a report that contains i) short summary of the reading, ii) contents of the group discussions and iii) their findings in the discussions. Both their facilitation in the class and facilitator&rsquo;s report will be graded.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>2. Essay</strong> (30%)<br>\nThe essay will be submitted at the end of the module. Students will choose one topic related to this module and analyze it. This is to let the students apply theories learned in this module to the actual cases and critically examine them. They will give a &lsquo;work in progress&rsquo; presentation to the rest of the class on <strong>Week 6</strong>.<br>\nThe final essay should be submitted to IVLE Workbin by <strong>Week 13</strong>.<br>\nThe essay should be no longer than <strong>2000 words</strong> (excluding notes and references). If the student fails to follow these limits, he/ she will be penalized.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n<strong>3. Class Participation</strong> (15%)<br>\nAs a seminar class, a high level of class participation is expected, based on sound preparation and active contribution to class discussions facilitated by student facilitators.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>4. Final Exam</strong> (40%)<br>\nA standard two-hour closed book final exam will test students&rsquo; learning outcomes across the overall areas of teaching in the module.
