Topics include the roles of planning in marketing, the reasons for planning, the pitfalls in planning, environmental analysis, market analysis, customer analysis, competitive analysis, company analysis, SWOT analysis, issue analysis, objective setting, strategy development, assembling of marketing mix, marketing implementation and control, and marketing evaluation and audit. The module is taught with a practical and applied orientation.
