\n\tPrepared attendance at every class is required. Coming to class prepared is crucial to ensure active participation. Also, missing a class will make it more difficult for you to understand the next class. If you know beforehand that you will miss a class, please inform the teacher so she can give you the homework. Only absences with MC will be excused. After the class, call a classmate or call your tutor to find out what the class was about. It is your own responsibility to find out what you miss. Missing many classes will automatically bring down your proficiency. If you miss more than THREE classes without MC, your grade will be affected.
\n\n\tHomework : All homework must be completed before you come to class; no homework should be done during the class. Homework will be collected at the beginning of the class on TA class , after which it will be considered late. Penalty for late homework: submission after the beginning of class from TA class through 6 days late: 5 marks off; 7 - 12 days late: 10 marks off; submission after 12 days: 0 point.

It is a language with few difficult sounds and a straightforward grammar. In a few weeks, you will find that you are already able to communicate in Indonesian as well as to write short composition using the language. However, acquiring language skills require time, i.e. regular class attendance, class preparation, and homework assignment. \r\n\r\n\t

\n\t
\n\tLanguage is acquired through practice, individually and corporately; thus, there will be emphasize on pair or group activity in order to maximize learning. Hence, maintaining small group format will greatly facilitate this process. Once a student has been assigned to his/her respective group, s/he cannot move to a different group. This is to maintain the small group dynamic mentioned earlier.
\n\tWe want to avoid cases whereby some groups become larger than others because of students’ moving from group to group. Also, being punctual and consistent is crucial in language classes. If one student comes more than 15 minutes after the class starts, s/he will be counted as absent.
