\n
\nBy conducting a series of experiments, students could strengthen their understanding of basic organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. Upon completion of the module, students are expected to have gained some expertise in essential laboratory skills, as well as perform basic skills on data processing and written reports.
\n
\nThe overall training in CM1191 should provide students with a good foundation to do experiments at Levels 2000 and 3000 and basic research initiatives such as in UROPS.

\n\tThe safety information can be viewed at http://www.chemistry.nus.edu.sg/PSSO/index.htm, under "Undergraduate Safety Information" section.
\n\t
\n\tIn particular, students must read the "Undergraduate Safety Note" and submit your online safety declaration by the end of Week 1 on IVLE, via the "Poll" function.
\n\t
\n\tWithout the online safety declaration, student will NOT be allowed to attend any lab session.
